CISI mapping exercise shows some advisers have minimal gaps to cover new RDR standards
The CISI is delighted to announce that following an extensive and detailed mapping exercise, existing authorised advisers who hold the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) will have minimal gaps to cover in complying with the new Retail Distribution Review (RDR) standards. Corporate and individual members had indicated a strong preference for the CISI to undertake the mapping on their behalf and the findings will be fully integrated into the CPD Logging scheme for firms and individuals to use. Depending on the specialism, eg, Packaged Products and/or Securities, the coverage is almost 95%, therefore there is only a minimal amount of additional training/CPD required.
