Operations Forum
Amongst the most successful of the CISI’s educational initiatives, Professional Interest Forums are a key benefit of membership and a cornerstone of Continuing Professional Development. The CISI launched an Operations Forum in July 2005. Organised as discussion groups, Forums are open to all members of the Institute, although students may only attend one Forum event per year.
Key Features:
- Counts towards your annual CPD target - and we will log the hours for you if you are part of the CPD Scheme
- Central London locations
- Light lunch included and an opportunity to network with fellow operations experts
- CISI members with all levels of experience and seniority are welcome
- Conducted under the Chatham House Rule, allowing members to discuss sensitive issues in a confidential setting

Frank Reardon FCSI, JM Finn & Co (Chairman)
Frank Reardon is Head of Investment Administration at JM Finn & Co,one of the UK’s leading privately owned investment managers, with offices in London, Leeds, Bristol, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
He is responsible for the trade support function as well as all back office operational areas. He is a committee member for Compliance and Risk issues and for new system development.
In 2009 he started up a new business development function at JM Finn & Co for in-sourcing other organisations’ execution and back office functions.
Having started his career in the financial markets in 1979, Frank joined JM Finn & Co in 2001 having previously worked in organisations which include Banque Nationale de Paris, CIN Management (British Coal Pension Fund), Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Citigroup Private Bank where he was Head of Operations EMEA.
JM Finn & Co is a member of APCIMS (Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers) and Frank is a member of SIMA (Securities Industry Management Association).
Frank is also an active contributor to, and a member of the editorial panel of CISI members’ magazine, the Securities and Investment Review.
